stone path near completion

I'm a little late uploading these pictures; they are from about two weeks ago, when the rock pathway Matt has been building was NEARING completion. It is now complete, and I'm gonna run out there and take some more pictures of it for the next post, here in a bit.

more pics of recent projects

Matt's not only been very busy with setting all these gigantic limestones we have into solid, beautiful pathways, but he's done some great tree-trimming as well. We also got screens installed on our porch recently, and that has really been a dream come true. So amazing to finally have a screened-in porch!

Below are some pictures of stone paths that are both completed, and in-progress. We ought to have them all done in a couple of weeks.

some pics from the past few months

Oops, got behind on my posting. Here are some assorted projects that have transpired since we moved in, on March 1st: Got gravel in our driveway (crushed limestone), mowed the back lawn for the first time ever, Bill and Bob removed the remainder of the maroon cedar shingles (so now we have a dirty white house instead of a maroon one), and Matt and I (Mainly Matt), started sinking some of the ancient limestones we exhumed from the original house's back patio into a new system of walkways. Pictured here is the side walkway - forthcoming entries will feature pictures of the other side of the house's (almost complete) walkways, which are far more extensive and impressive. Matt has really outdone himself on this project.

Blinds, bathroom mirrors and pocket doors are in!

Finally, no more sheets, towels and pillowcases on the master bedroom/bathroom (and guest bathroom) windows, no more mirror-less bathrooms, and no more un-closeable doors on Laurel's closet and the laundry room!
